As a novelist I have found The Bluebell Café to be a charming escape from writer’s block and a place for above average delectable meals. It is an American style brick wall setting for personable staff serving refreshingly inspired yet straight forward dishes. Whether Mussels in a delectable sauce so light you want an entire loaf of bread for dunking, or all American favorite of hanger steak the dishes are a delight to the palate. And, for diners who want to pair their meal with the perfect wine or other drink, the offerings are well selected and priced. A busy place all year round, this cozy setting is welcoming to the solo diner or to share with friends and family. Whether Brunch - an event, Lunch - an amiable gathering, or Dinner - an intimate occasion, you won’t be disappointed.
